Join our weekly art classes at Kredens pod Oknami — a place to try your hand at drawing and painting, whatever your level of experience.

Together we learn the basics of art-making, while also exploring the history of art and drawing inspiration from the work of great artists.

These classes are more than just an easel and a brush — they also include creative activities, joint visits to museums and Warsaw artists’ studios, and participation in exhibition openings, so that art becomes something to experience, not just to look at.

We meet every Tuesday at 6:45 PM, at Kredens pod Oknami, ul. Boremlowska 4.

Instead of traditional books, participants will be able to “borrow” living books — people who, through their life, health, social, or cultural circumstances, have experienced barriers, stereotypes, or exclusion.

In small groups, young people will have the chance to talk with invited guests, learn their perspective, and ask questions in a safe, moderated setting that respects everyone’s boundaries.

The conversations will be followed by a joint reflective-creative workshop, “From Stereotype to Action,” where we will consider which stereotypes we managed to overcome and how we can better support people experiencing exclusion around us.

The event aims to show young people that direct contact and conversation can be a first step toward changing the way we look at others.
